I’m a native of the greater Charlotte area in North Carolina, where I live with my family. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, and friend— who is deeply passionate about helping people on their journey of healing through writing, speaking, and coaching.

Years ago, I started out serving in the local church- teaching Sunday School, organizing events which gave me a deep compassion and a greater understanding of Christ’s redeeming love and some of the real life issues that others faced. I learned firsthand during time spent in outreach walking alongside others during very difficult challenges the importance of love, showing compassion and how powerful our stories really are. In 2011 I completed a seminary degree eventually stepping into full-time ministry.  Later, my interest in human behavior and the research related to recovery led me to completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2016.

But nothing has shaped my life like having my own personal experiences. I am also a woman who has had to work hard to overcome grief and pain.  I understand what it is to have to face hard truths and to suffer the loss of relationships you thought would last, the pain of having to start over and the recovery process involved with being truly honest with yourself refusing to stay in cycles that rob you of the life God designed. Rather than breaking me, my experiences refined me, giving me a renewed passion for life and an unshakable hope.

The revelation of the truth- I am loved and I am called has given me the power to tear down my own boundaries and release fear so I see myself as God sees me. 

Now I use writing, speaking, and coaching as a powerful way to share that message.  It is a powerful tool I now use to connect others to healing, real life scenarios and challenges we all face that centers around Jesus Christ. I believe that each of us were created with a purpose and plan that was designed by God.
